Ericsson Digi - Futsal Challenge 14 Nov 09

Last Saturday, 14 Nov 2009 we had Team Building with DiGi. We played Futsal at Sport Plaza PJ... Only 2 girls teams participated, my group scored 2 goals... Yeahhhh!!! We won!!

I was so lucky that on the last day of my stay in the hotel, there was a free show celebrating the "Loi Krathong" events.. Joining my other 2 friends, Khim and Ai Sin.. we enjoyed their show and have fun... :-)

As the team leader for FIGHTING TIGERS, i really appreciate the players for their support. Thanks to Zaifunizam (who always get above 150 pts), Chun Houw (haha...), Sharon, Shu Hizamir... and myself la... our group only manage to get the third.. but in overall marks, i am sure now we are at the first rank... yahhhoooo!!! Cisco Certificate CCNA - ICND1 (Part 1)

I was lucky to be chosen to get the CCNA certificate for Ericsson.. From left is Kevin, me, Phoon and sitting was Soon Kiat, our ICND1 insctructor from Global Knowledge..

Well... sitting at the front row in the class next to Kevin and Phoon was really fun... both of them are good in IP... and are teaching IP subjects... Kevin and Phoon will proceed with ICND2 soon after finishing part 1. As for me, i will continue taking the ICND2 in October... after passing the exam for part 1..

Ok, to Kevin and Phoon... good luck for the CCNA exam.. i hope all of us will pass with flying colors... :-)

GSDC Core DAY!

ESSC Bowling Practise

I was with Rohan representing Fighting Tigers (Group 5) for Bowling practice. Wow! Lucky he is in my group. He achieved 143 points but only 116 pts from me... I hope our group will be the Champion for the next ESSC tournament after raya... Go! Go! Go! Practice more huh!



Well, above are the other Ericsson staff from other ESSC groups... Some of them even can score 176 pts. I was very impressed with Tazlina's performance.... Very-very good!!

MGW R5 with ETV and BKH

Most of my students are all engineers... and 90% are all guys... All of them are Ericsson staff, only 1 from Cambodian and the rest from Vietnam.. As usual, i took the opportunities to learn their existing networks as well... :-)... Emm.. I always in a situation as the rose? among the thorns..

Mix Classes for MGw R4.0 in Cyberjaya

Last week, i completed teaching 6 students from GTEL (Vietname's Operator), 1 students from Singtel (Singapore) and 1 student from Ericsson Singapore. The training was held at our Training Center in Cyberjaya.

I love meeting and teaching students from different countries and backgroud. I love to understand the similarity between human although with different races and religion.

Complicated huh! No... for me, basic human being is still the same. As in our protocol stack, thing that make us different from each other is only the Application Part... Layer 7 in OSI... Remember?

Represented Ericsson for Inter-MSC Companies Table Tennis Competition

Our new appointed Table Tennis 'Captain', WILSON arranged to represent Ericsson for Table Tennis Competition... We were actually playing against representative from MCS Companies in Cyberjaya. We won 2 times and lost 2 times. Unfortunately, we were not listed to the Semi-Finals.

Anyway, this competition has given us the opportunity to get new skills and meet new friends. Although we lost this year, I am sure we can fight much better next year round. So, keep up the good work. Hopefully, we are still in the team to fight next year... Good Job Wilson, Jason, Suryati(Me), Felicia and Chu Yaw...

My Vinaphone Students.. well, I just completed the MGw Operation and Configuration R5.0 today..It was very hard for me to remember their names, but i am sure i can remember their faces well.. :-)

Upgrade BETE's Media Gateway Node

Media Gateway Node!! Have you seen this Equipment?

Last Saturday 18/7/09, I went to Ericsson office until 4pm, joining the GSDC Integrator's team to upgrade the BETE's Media Gateway Node from R5.0 to R5.1. Well, Maran, Irwan and Wai Kit did the upgrade for the MGw node. For me, it is a new experience that can be shared with my students.. Good Teamwork!

ESSC Badminton Tournament Result

We only managed to get Runner up for Mix Doubles and Women Double. Sad to say, only players attended the tournament. If…. If…. and if… more supporters came to support players during that tournament, I am sure that FIGHTING TIGERS can easily get the No.1 rank…

Although i was the instructor but i told them that we need to learn from each other.. everybody has their expertise... the fastest way to learn is to gain the knowledge from other people's experience...

MSC/MSC-Server Configuration

Last 2 weeks, 18-22 May 2009, I attended the MSC/MSC-Server Configuration R12.0 with Pak Rizal. Actually I am joining the U-Mobile customer (En. Wahab and Zul) learning about the MSC Configuration.

Although at this moment I am assign to teach MGw, learning the MSC is a good advantange to understand the whole network functionality and connectivity.

Rizal is a good and experience instructor. If you happen to be his student, you can ask anything... A to Z... haahah... right Rizal?

As expected, Fighting Tigers Won!

Last Friday, we had the Ping Pong Tournament in Ericsson. Our Fighting Tigers Group won the mix doubles and Women doubles. We had a very enjoyable game. Hopefully by now, we are ahead of the Panda Group.... Emm.. still waiting the final marks from ESSC. Anyway, attached are photos taken during the game. ESSC - Ping Pong Tournament

Ok Guys and Ladies...

Again.. I need representatives for Ping Pong Tournament..
